Homebrew Aqrabuamelu Species Details

Aqrabuamelu live in deserts, marshes, and swamps. They are solitary creatures, living in small nomadic family groups. They live in primal, animalistic groups. As a young male reaches the age of 12, they are forced from their family groups and go to live in bachelor groups with another 2-3 young males until they find another family group to usurp. They speak a somewhat primal, hybrid form of undercommon, words like the and linking verbs replaced with grunts or squeaks. They also speak a broken form of Terran, to communicate with the creatures that may surround them

Primal upbringing.

Due to your primal upbringing in the most desolate areas of the world, you can speak both terran and undercommon. You also gain +1 constitution 

Sting reaction

When an enemy is behind you unnoticed, you can roll a perception check, if the check is successful your stinger attacks them as a bonus action.

Stinger

Your stinger can be used as a weapon. Attack any enemy within 5 feet for 1d4 of poison damage.

Scorpion skills.

You were brought up in constant danger, you have learned to fend for yourself. Your body has evolved to do this. Gain a +1 to strength and a +2 to dexterity 

Isolated upbringing.

Your isolated upbringing prevented education. You have a -2 to intelligence and a -1 to charisma
