Homebrew Caudata Species Details

Salamander Folk

Caudata resemble Giant Salamanders and a resilient but often times arrogant and proud folk. They live in a number of fresh water ecosystems and can often be found in rivers, white water rapids, lakes, and water falls where they can be seen pan mining for gold, hunting crayfish, stacking rock cairns or even building sand castles.

Awkwardly Adorable

These adorably awkward little beings have little black beady eyes, a rounded back, and stumpy little legs that give them a waddle like a duck as they walk. They have an extremely large mouth that runs across the entire width of their head which allows them to hold onto fish, crustaceans, and have even said to have swallowed gnomes, goblins and other similar sized creatures whole.

River Barons

They have a unique social hierarchy as each pod of Caudata are ruled over by a River Baron that acts as the pods leader, who often is the largest most dominant Male. The Baron will usually be in the highest point in the pods territory, as it is used to oversee the group and the territory.
