Homebrew Zombie Species Details
Seeing as I couldn't possibly account for every different setting I advise you work with your GM on how this should be role played as it makes the most sense.
Zombie Traits
Your a zombie, and you look the part.Ability Score Increase
You get plus 2 to constitution, and a floating plus one.
Undead Fortitude
Your a zombie so life threatening damage isn't so much of a problem for you compared to the living. As a result you get advantage on death saving throws, and the ability to make a constitution saving throw to drop to 1HP instead of hitting the floor.
Undead Body
You no longer require food, water, or sleep and are immune to exhaustion, poison, disease, and necrotic damage. You are weak to radiant damage, but have a resistance to necrotic and poison damage. You also have disadvantage on persuasion, and deception checks with people who know your identity and are not friendly.
Dark Vision
You get 60ft of dark vision not much else to say.
Age
Your a walking corpse that isn't decaying anymore so your life span if effectively indefinite.
Alignment
Your a sentient zombie, so you alignment is up to you, and your GM though being that your a monster people aren't going to like you that much.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language within reason.

Posted Nov 16, 2019Hello for those who see this I have made multiple versions of this due to revisions because hindsight is always 20/20, and this is the most up to date version though I think its only my second doubting my earlier statement this is the one you want to use as it is likely the most balanced. I should warn anyone who decides to use this I only recommend it for specific settings, or experienced role players as this race can obviously cause a great deal of problems if not handled correctly.
