Homebrew City Ogre Species Details
City Ogres are the ones found in bigger citiies and villages, working as masons or in stregth needed tasks in general. Usually, these creatures come from Ogre Tribes that expelled them for their unusual behavior, that meaning their unwilling response to evil and chaotic behaviors.
This Ogres often show some kind of sensitivity and compassion for others, but still carry some of the rage ogre genes. Creatures belonging to this race are usually bigger than normal races, but a little smaller than wild Ogres. This larger size leads to a frenetic need for food, but it is no problem at all, since Ogres can eat almost everything.
By living in civilized places, this Ogres were able to develop in other fields, and it is normal to see them as wizards, sorcerers, warlocks and even monks, but usually they stay in lower fields of knowledge, working as guards for their city or in manual labours.
Glutton
Ogres eat almost anything and they eat a lot, so it is normal for them to have entire animals in their meals. City Ogres almost never eat other races, but it happens when the Ogre goes into a wrath frenzy or when it is an outlaw.
Rustic Living
As Ogres, this creatures don't need sofisticated housing and food to feel good, and are often satisfied with what they have. Most of them live in unhuman conditions, but don't complain, as they don't have anywhere else to go.
Numb Perosnality
City Ogres are very numb, but not as stupid as their wild relatives. It's relatively easy to trick and decept an Ogre, but it's harder to trick a City Ogre. Ogres that lived in cities have learned the malicious way of humans, but are still number than other races. This siliness is often left behind when City Ogres devote themselves to studying or building social skills.
If an attempt to trick an Ogre goes wrong, they get insanelly mad.
Furious Tempers
Ogres are notorious for their quick tempers, which flare at the smallest perceived offense. Insults and name calling can rouse an ogre's wrath in an instant as can stealing from it, bumping, jabbing, or prodding it, laughing, making faces, or simply looking at it the wrong way. When its rage is incited, an ogre lashes out in a frustrated tantrum until it runs out of objects or creatures to smash.

Posted Aug 26, 2020When using this race for a character it will only allow the character to be a medium size. It would probably be a good idea to add the powerful build feat to get the benefits of the large size. Other than that great homebrew race
