Homebrew Chamleonid Species Details

The life of a Chamleonid is very changeable. Just like their appearance, it can change at any second

Flexible and Impulsive

Chamleonids are very very impulsive. As soon as something is boring to them, they often just quit. They don't live very long so they don't see the sense to sticking to something once you've lost interest in the end goal. This doesn't mean they aren't determined. In fact, Chamleonids are very very determined because the few things they stick to, they are incredibly passionate about.

No common culture

Chamleonids never stick to one kind of culture. They blend into any culture they are in. For this reason, Chamleonid characters tend to follow a set of very strange and unrelated traditions. When making your Chamleonid character, roll 1d4. The amount that you roll is the amount of traditions you should follow. To decide these traditions, look at various other races of the world you're in and randomly pick one of the headings from the description. Apply all the content under the header to your character. For example, you may see Scars as a good thing because you follow the "Scarred and Strong" section of the Half Orc Description.

Alignment

Chamleonids often don't feel like they have to follow any one person. They may imitate other people, but they never try to be someone else. They feel the same way about cultures. Whilst it is true that Chamleonids may see things in a morally bad or morally good way, this decision isn't dictated by preexisting laws, but instead their own judgements. For this reason, a Chamleonid is often Chaotic and either Neutral or Good (Dependant on previous morally good or bad experiences and how they felt about them)
