Homebrew Wolfogian Species Details
Born of dragons and wolves, as their name proclaims, the Wolfogians walk proudly through a world that greets them with complete fear, for the few that dare to walk it.
Proud Dragon Kin
Wolfogians have an odd tendency of prideful like their dragon parents. Most don’t show off themselves to strangers, but for the few that have gone outside of the clans or packs, tend to show off their skills so they can earn money and other items.
Wolfogians are mostly made out of thick fur, standing on two wolf-hind-legs with a odd long, scaley-yet-furry looking tail. Their faces are shaped like that of a wolves as well, their arms are well-muscled under the thick fur, and have claws at the tip of all four fingers.
The blood of a particular type of dragon runs very strong through the few Wolfogian clans. These Wolfogians rarely boast about their fur that more closely matches those of their dragon ancestor o parent-bright red, green, blue, lustrous black, or gleaming metallic gold, brass, or copper.
Close-nite Community
Wolfogians are very loyal to their clan/packs and their very few outsider friends. More than often a Wolfogian will spend their life inside their forest, hidden from sight and danger. Very few Wolfogians travel out to explore the world, those that do are looked up at fear and uncertainty of what this odd creature is exactly..
Wolfogians are an all-around species, they can adapt semi quickly to most anything but the desert. For the few that have explored they have gained outsider friends, maybe one or two of those outsider friends have been asked if they want to become an ‘honorary member’ to the Wolfogians pack/clan, this is an extreme honor as it allows the outsider inside this Wolfogians clan territory forest, and allows to look about the village peacefully. Not only that, but if an outsider is asked this by their Wolfogian friend, they should know that they have an extremely loyal friend for life.
Wolfogian Names
Wolfogians often don’t survive hatching or birthing, so more than often a parent will not name a child until it has survived a year, by this time a child will have a childhood nickname that is often used among clutchmates as a descriptive term or a term of endearment. The name might recall an event or center on a habit.

Beastly Form
You can use your action to cause destructive energy with your claws, and teeth, or the area around you if you element is there. Your draconic ancestry determines the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your draconic ancestry. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level. After you use your beastly form several times you need a long rest to regain energy.
Once you hit level 10 you will be able to take on your original form, a Dire Wolf that is made out of your element. You will need a long rest after using it just once.
Damage Resistance
You have resistance to the damage type associated with your draconic ancestry.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common, Draconic, and Wolfish.
Draconic is thought to be one of the oldest languages and is often used in the study of magic. The language sounds harsh to most other creatures and includes numerous hard consonants and sibilants.
Wolfish allows you to speak to wolves, and give commands, as long as your aura is stronger than the wolf you are talking to. Wolfish is thought to be a myth, but it is very real, it is rather complex like Draconic, if you get one bark, growl, or howl wrong you could easily insult the wolf you are talking to and start a fight. Not only that, but there is many vowels, and languages of Wolfish. Each one is complex, and you know every wolf language thanks to your clan.
