Homebrew Abomination (Goliath/Changeling) Species Details
Very rarely in the ever mixing universes of the multiverse, a set of circumstances will bring these two unlikely races together. The result can go a number of different directions, and mostly stillborn abominations. But very rarely it creates a result that is stronger than the sum of both its parts. An abomination is larger than both its parents. If the mother is a changeling she will likely die at birth if there is no magical intervention.
The abomination, while it cannot change its appearance as the changeling, it is capable of varying the thickness color and texture of their skin. The abomination is not as charismatic as the changeling parent and his/her oppressive size is a constant source of unwanted attention. An abomination is far more versatile in its stat distribution than the Goliath or the changeling. Contrary to what they are called, result is a hulking figure with humanoid features. The grey skin now ripples and changes its qualities constantly. Abomination is a Goliaths way of referring to these mix breeds, as they have no distinguishing patterns and they can even change them.
Survivor
Goliaths place a premium on self-sufficiency and individual skill and a changeling is a natural born survivalist and little of that washes unto the abomination. An abomination rarely has a surviving changeling mother, and the Goliath's tribes tend to reject these babies outright. In their strong belief of survival of the fittest, the abomination is a threat to the image of the Goliath purity. Often the parents are drawn away of the tribe, if they cannot be convinced to loose the offspring.
There is very little love in the lives of these abominations, if they even make it past childhood. In most cases they end up surviving by being adopted by others, most likely not of their race, or sold to slavery. The are likely to absorb the mannerisms of their adoptive parents, whatever they may be. If the changeling parent is male, chances are the abomination is yet again abandoned. The over-sized infant which is unable to disguise itself is not only a threat to itself, but will likely expose the more deceptive changeling parent.
Opportunist
The abomination will often be forced to make best of what it can. The harsh childhood can go any direction and while some are drawn to crime initially they rarely feel satisfaction from the brutish jobs they are often forced to take. Those that can stay away from the crime usually become gentler giants.
The goliath's drive to always strive to be better is also present with the abomination, but they are not as big risk takers as their parents. The abomination will always be striving to excel, but this drive is turned towards mental refinement as opposed to the physical challanges. For this reason they value experience above all else, positive or negative.
Abomination Names
Every goliath has three names: a birth name assigned by the newborn’s mother and father, a nickname assigned by the tribal chief, and a family or clan name. A birth name is up to three syllables long. Clan names are five syllables or more and end in a vowel. An abomination will likely have a goliath name as well. though it is likely that they will be renamed by their adoptive parents.
Birth names are rarely linked to gender. Goliaths see females and males as equal in all things, and they find societies with roles divided by gender to be puzzling or worthy of mockery. To a goliath, the person who is best at a job should be the one tasked with doing it.
A goliath’s nickname is a description that can change on the whim of a chieftain or tribal elder. It refers to a notable deed, either a success or failure, committed by the goliath. Goliaths assign and use nicknames with their friends of other races, and change them to refer to an individual’s notable deeds.
Goliaths present all three names when identifying themselves, in the order of birth name, nickname, and clan name. In casual conversation, they use their nickname.

Adaptive skin
Your skin can become thicker at will and although you cannot change appearance you can vary its tone and qualities, (smoothness, oiliness) This can at will increase your armor up to 3 points, but you will need to roll a concentration check after receiving an impact after which the color and all its qualities go back to its original white pigmented tone. It is not a concentration effort to keep it thick. To change your skin requires one full action. This tonal change is not limited to natural colors, and can vary partially to create patterns, but its edges are not smooth enough to create precise drawings or text. They are more reminiscent of a goliath's skin patterns.

Survivalist
The changeling instincts show its traces but since deception and persuasion do not come as easily to the changeling, they hone their intimidation and insight.
