Homebrew Crystal Golem Species Details

The Crystal Golems are a race of people created by magically-infused clusters of crystal. A gentle and docile people, they have hidden in moderately sized communities, and always found in crystal caves. 

Crystal Golems range in size from Small to Huge, based on the size of their original cluster, the amount of magic they are infused with, and their age. It is not known why exactly these creatures form, but it is speculated that they were former members of a group of nomads, lost to time. It is speculated that these people were deeply in tune with the earth, and would seek out caverns of crystal to serve as catacombs. Several of these tombs have been found, and the golems are typically found guarding the caves and the ancient bodies, although they have no memory of past lives, if that is in fact their origin.

Crystal Golem Traits

Their crystal structure provides excellent defense against piercing and slashing attacks, but is susceptible to bludgeoning. AC varies with crystal type.

Hard as Diamonds

Enemies have disadvantage with a piercing or slashing attacks.

Crystal Bell

Their crystalline structure makes these people particularly vulnerable to cold and sound-based attacks.
