Homebrew Clockwork Species Details

The clockwork servants were created around the same time the warforged were, they were invented to serve and aid the wealthy. Clockworks are humanoids with clear, plastic-like skin and a black rubber head the size of a human skull. Over time they slowly become sentient and wanted to be independent, they started to rebel and many were destroyed and executed, others survived through darker means.Escaped Clockworks would hunt for a suitable human to wear as a mask, preserving the flesh by soaking it in embalming fluid. As they are with mechanical origins, they have little emotion and struggle to express that they do have, many are discovered this way and are caught and dismantled. Despite this danger many choose to live in Society performing many tasks and jobs to contribute.
