Homebrew Conscious Hound Species Details
As man's best friend, you are usually best suited for a party and not solo play. You can motivate your allies or help them gather information hardly accessible to them using your abilities of keen smell and insight into the intentions of those who surround you. You do not know how, but some people seem to understand your speech whereas some people just hear you bark. Even when barking you can usually convey enough information to the recipient to have a seemingly 'normal' conversation.

You can use your cuteness to influence others around you, giving you +2 on on your Charisma stat.
Darkvision
Your keen eyes allow you to have 20ft. Darkvision.

As a canine your sense of smell is very advanced, thus granting you advantage on Perception checks using your ability to smell. You can also track this smell quite well if you pass the History check to remember it.
