COPY_OF_Vulpix Traits

Your Vulpix character has the following traits.

Ability Score Increase

Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Dexterity Score increases by 1.

Fey Ancestry

You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.

Age

Vulpin mature at a similar rate to humans, but generally live to 99 years of age. Each tail a Vulpin earns adds another 11 years to its lifespan to a maximum of 9 tails.

Darkvision

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and Sylvan.

Size

Vulpin grow to be about the same height as humans, but are typically more slender. Your size is Medium.

Keen Nose

Your sensitive nose gives you a heightened sense of smell. You have advantage of Perception checks that rely on smell.

Alignment

Vulpin have a tendency towards any chaotic alignments, usually good, but many are neutral, and some even turn to evil.

Vulpine Shift

As a bonus action, you can assume a more bestial fox-like appearance. This transformation lasts for 1 minute, until you die, or until you revert to your normal appearance as a bonus action. When you shift, you gain access to the following benefits.

Your fingernails end at a curved point, much like the claws of a fox. Because of your claws, you have a climbing speed of 20 feet. In addition, your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes as a bonus action. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Dexterity modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

You gain resistance to magical effects. You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Once you shift, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
