Homebrew Ancient One Species Details

Ancient ones live in their citadels in the darkest corners of the underdark and at the bottom of the deepest seas. They travel to other planes to get materials and resources to aid them in daily life and in helping resurrect their ancient terrors, the Yothrans. 

Ancient One Traits

The natural machinery incorporated into your body and your adaptations to surviving in strange realms give you several unique abilities. Your Intelligence increases by 2, and either your Constitution or Dexterity increases by 1.

Darkvision

You have darkvision up to 60 ft.

Water adaptations

You can breathe underwater, and have a swim speed of 30 ft.

You naturally formed strange mechanical components as you grew, which give you unique abilities. Choose a mechanical component:

Deep Speech

You can speak Deep Speech, the language of beings that dwell in the deepest of depths, ancient terrors beyond time.

Ability Score Increase

Your Intelligence increases by 2, and either your Constitution or Dexterity increases by 1.
