Homebrew Denmor Species Details

Deep in the frozen north, where the harsh cold and endless snow makes life near impossible, the Denmor live. An ancient race of hardy creatures, they are the descendants of a long forgotten race, and now live in an ancient caver, the remains of a broken civilizations in its place. While bearing a tribal like life style, the Denmor are still quite civilized, and are rather friendly to outsiders, unless they feel threatened. In fact, in recent times, they have been seen far north of their home in the towns, trading with locals or just exploring and learning new things from other races. 

The Denmor only have one legend of how they came to be.

Long ago, when the sky turned black and the frost began to freeze the land and people, the ancestors of the Denmor pleaded for aid from any gods who could ear them, but answering them was a strange winged beast, who offered them a way survive the frost, but they would be changed forever more. They took this chance though, and the beast did change them, and the city sank into the earth, now a broken shell of a once prospering city.

The Denmor still worship the now gone winged beast, who they have called Dorovix, and often praise his name to others. whether the legend is true or not is not known.

The ice and snow have little effect to this hardy race

bearing sharp claws, they can slash with a free hand in place of action

Tail swipe

with a long, powerful tail, Denmor are able to trip enemies 5 feet from them as an action.

Thick Fur

Adapted to life in the frozen north,  they are used to the cold, and thick fur helps them stay warm. however, they are weak and fearful to fire due to being flamable.
