Homebrew Draconian Species Details
Fallen From Dragon Kin
Draconians look very much like dragons standing erect in humanoid form, though they may lack wings or a tail. The first draconians had scales of five metallic types. Their small, fine scales are usually brass or bronze in color, sometimes ranging to scarlet, rust, gold, or copper-green. They are tall and strongly built, often standing close to 6½ feet tall and weighing 300 pounds or more. Their hands and feet are strong, talonlike claws with three fingers and a thumb on each hand.
From birth Draconians are taught that the world is cruel and that humans are most of all. They are forced to fight for the scraps of rotten meat that their human caretakers throw to them. This insures that the strongest survived. By the the time they were ready to join the dragonarmies they had little regard for human life. On the other hand, they are taught to revere dragons.
Independent and Self-Sufficient
Thousands of years ago, the Draconians were dependent people upon the Takhisis armies. Now they live more independently from other races and stick close to one another, similarly to Dragonborn. Most Draconians of the same color tend to be in the same region of Dragonlance as each other as once Draconians evolved into their own race, they lived similarly as to how they were divided during the wars from years ago.

Corruption Mutation
The Draconian race was created by corrupting the eggs of metallic dragonborn by the followers of Takahisis, the god of evil in Dragonlance. Draconians were not born with breath weapons based on their ancestry, but rather are equipped with magical abilities that differed based on the color of the draconian.
Aruak are known as some of the most powerful draconians due to them being very intelligent, strong, and have the ability to spellcast naturally.
However the Baaz for example, are known for their ability to run fast due to their small to medium wing size, but are also uncommonly able to fly, some have been able to learn how to fly but it is very rare among Baaz Draconians.
Bozak Draconians are known to rival the Aruak in their magical capabilities and are also capable of gliding, not flight however.
Kapak Draconians are very interesting type of Draconian in the fact that they are the only ones who have poison glads, allowing them to bite and poison their opponent with ease.
Finally, Sivak Draconians are known for being the superior flyers to the Baaz or Bozak.
