Your Charisma score increases by 2.

Celestial-born Tritons reach maturity at 18, and can live up to 200 years.

Celestial-born Tritons are incredibly rare, with only 1 documented account of one being found, and as such, they are not bound by any cultural or social stigma or expectations by their race but also find themselves as protectors of the sea, just like any other Triton. They go with whatever way suits them the best, but their Celestial lineage pushes them away from evil.

They are much shorter than average humans and can range from 4ft to barely 6ft.

Your base walking speed is 30 feet, and you have a swimming speed of 30 feet.

Blessed with a radiant soul, your vision can easily cut through darkness. You can see in dim light within 30 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

You can breathe air and water.

You know the Light cantrip. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for it.

Aquatic beasts have an extraordinary affinity with your people. You can communicate simple ideas with beasts that can breathe water. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return.

Adapted to even the most extreme ocean depths, you have resistance to cold damage, and you ignore any of the drawbacks caused by a deep, underwater environment.

You can speak, read, and write Aquan and Common.
