Homebrew Azumite Species Details
Children of Azum
Having descended from the very first humans that set foot on Azum, at first glance Azumites are indistinguishable from humans. However, what sets the two apart are the Azumite's pupils. They are varying shades of orange and yellow, depending on the degree of Azumite heritage. The oldest families have the most vibrant, striking shades of orange, while the offspring between an Azumite of moderate heritage and a non-native will have a faint shade of yellow.
As Azumites pursue the attunement of their body to Azum's energies, their hair and nails loses its original shade, incrementally being replaced from the roots by a golden, almost glimmering hue. It is said that this phenomenon occurs due to residual energy being trapped n Azumites after meditation, possibly aiding further attunement. Most Azumites do not experience this at all, thus seeing an Azumite with more than twenty percent of their hair golden is a sight few and far between.
