Homebrew Zircon Species Details

Zircon's are an odd species. They are a mixture of an arachnid and a feyling. Zircon's are extremely rare and only known by Underdark creatures and the smartest of scholars. The Zircon has 8 diamond eyes and rough, rocky skin covered in stiff hair. Zircon's have large round wings made out of silk. Their face is oddly attractive having sharp elven features with 8 beautiful diamond eyes, 2 long, deadly retractable fangs, 4 arms and 4 legs each appendage having 4 fingers.

"I have never seen something so grotesque, yet so beautiful” Darsil said curiously. The trek was rough, especially for 13000 year old Golden elf. He and Zophrix stood over the Hercloptix, looking down upon a the Zirconian city.

Only 8 Zirconians are born each year, this is because of the 8 diamond eyes. A Zircon egg takes nearly 17 years to hatch, yet the life expectancy of a Zircon is only 50 years. They create cities out of their silk often making large hammocks they live in on the many pillars that support the Hercloptix.  Sneaky and Magical

Zircon's are small creatures, being only 5 feet tall and weighing 180-220 pounds. Having a sleek torso attached to a bulbous thorax. They are very magical, in fact they have formed their own kind of magic, called Zircish magic. Utilizing portals and psionic spells. Being Underdark creatures they usually communicate via telepathy, but they do speak their own language along with undercommon and rarely common.

"Many times we are seen a vermin, a menace, a worthless, disgusting race of inept creatures, but we shall make them regret that." Vesh'ikar Thelak the elder of the Zirconians announced before storming the Drow city of Shevilik.

Zircon Names
