Dragons of the Hells

Devil Dragons look  much like your typical Dragonborn at first as the approach their final stage of maturation things change however the caste of the Devil dragon becomes clear within the 8th year as either fledgling wings or more crocodilian scales have emerged once fully mature the sweeping span and natural litheness of a winged make them unmistakable from either Dragonborn or the heavyset hulking form of the Armoured with its kite shield shaped scales Devil Dragons scales are typicaly of vibrant hues yet never quite matching  the colors of their dragon kin,  small, fine scales covering their frames They are tall and strongly built, often standing around 6 feet tall and weighing between 200 to 300 pounds. Their feet are strong, talonlike claws with three toes and a thumb on each their finger tipped with sharp looking claws

Self-Sufficient Clans

A continual drive for self-improvement reflects the self-sufficiency of the race as a whole. Devil Dragons value skill and excellence in all endeavours. They hate to fail, and they push themselves to extreme efforts before they give up on something. A devil dragon holds mastery of a particular skill as a lifetime goal. Members of other races who share the same commitment find it easy to earn the respect of a devil dragon.

Though all devil dragons strive to be self-sufficient,  they recognize that help is sometimes needed in difficult situations. But the best source for such help is taught to be the clan, and when a clan needs help, it turns to another clan before seeking aid from other races—or even from the gods.

Devil Dragon Naming convention

Devil Dragons and Dragonborn share much in the way of language but a primary difference is in their naming conventions where as the Dragonborn place their clan's identity before their own the devil Dragon have their given name first and clan names after. by way of perhaps misguided superstition concerning the power of names born of their connection to infernal beings. A childhood name or nickname is often used as a smokescreen providing an identity to outsiders from the clan that can not be compromised said name might recall an event or centre apon an old or continuing habit.
