Homebrew Deep Drow Species Details

Many years ago, a small group of Drow took to the high seas and a life of piracy, seeking to gain wealth and reputation in abundance. Eventually stumbling upon a enchanted island, these Drow were lured by curiosity to a temple in the islands centre, in which there was a portal to the Elemental Plain of Water. Mistakenly travelling there, the Drow were warily greeted by a small group of Water Genasi. As time went on, the two groups became friendly towards each other, eventually interbreeding and residing in both the Elemental Plain of Water and the Material Realm, via the temple portal. Upon gaining the ability to breathe underwater, this group, now known as Deep Drow, explored the trenches and ravines surrounding the island, eventually settling within them and carving out more homes for themselves. Though this life suits many of the Deep Drow, the call of the high seas and a life of adventure reaches out to some, causing them to journey into the world to seek their destiny.
