Homebrew Aasling of Order Species Details
With the skin color, horns, and tail of a Tiefling and pupil-less gray eyes of am Aasimar, they are an abomination of the plane touched. Aaslings tend to lawful alignments, most notably lawful neutral. Despite losing their bond with an angelic being and ancestral pact with a demon, Aaslings show great promise as clergy and guides and possess a natural affinity for worship. With or without divine guidance, Aaslings constantly find themselves in conflict with themselves and others. They are somewhat of a mystery to most and seek to quell their inner struggles. Most Aaslings stay to themselves unless provoked or if someone else acts against them. They can be great heroes or great villians with an unrelenting self-righteousness to defend their actions.
Aasling of Order Traits
Aaslings possess innate spellcasting abilities and various features from both bloodlines.(Un)Holy Transformation
At 3rd level, you can use an action to gain a flying speed of 45ft. Once per turn, you deal extra radiant (or necrotic) damage when you deal damage with an attack or spell. This transformation lasts for one minute, and the extra damage is equal to your level. Divine energy burst forth from within yourself, causing you to sprout incorporeal wings of dread or hope. The type of wing determines the damage type.
Enlightened Guardian
You know the Light and Green-Flame Blade cantrips, Charisma is your spellcasting ability for them.
Infernal Legacy
At 3rd level you know the Hellish Rebuke and Armor of Agathys spells. You can cast them in a 2nd level spell slot. After using this trait to cast either or both spells, you regain the ability when you take a short or a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Languages
Your combined heritage has bestowed upon you the natural gift for communing with the divine and the unhallowed. You can speak and write Common, Celestial, and Infernal.
Ability Score Increase
Through self-enlightenment and exploration of evil and good's impulses you have developed a silver tongue, manipulative mind, and uncanny ability to interact with others.
Darkvision
Endowed with the eyes of a radiant soul, you can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if in bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, merely shades of gray.
Age
You mature at the same rate as humans, but may live up to 150 years.
