Homebrew Arcane-Born Species Details
This new race, if it can even be called such, has bloomed into this world with immense power and aptitude for the arcane. Their powers seem erratic and sometimes dangerous.
There is excitement and wonder at what these creatures will bring, their mark on the world not yet made, their race all but new. Their future is theirs to write. We all hope it will be a good one.
Though they live long, they are but a fledgling new race. The second generation not even born yet. This sterile race, born only out of the interference and direct influence of magic, is still finding it's place in the world it finds itself.
A Broad Spectrum
As plentiful as the race it is born to, they are as varied and wonderful as there are races to bear them. Their capabilities may change, but as varied as a human, they are hardly ordinary and predictable.
Look Can Be Deceiving
Arcane-Born look very much like the parent they are born to, with a touch of magic to affect them. Horns protruding out of an otherwise normal looking human, an elf with large wings, their marks are as varied as the races they find parentage in.

Age
Although Arcane-Born reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, they stopping aging at some point when they reach adulthood. They can live 400 to over 550 years.
Alignment
Arcane-Born like Humans tend toward no particular alignment. The best and the worst are found among them.
Size
Arcane-Born vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision
The magic that flows in your blood, made your physically change. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Born for Magic
You have proficiency in the Arcana skill.
