Dragons, though rare, are powerful creatures. Even a wyrmling could wreak havoc or creature peace in a time of war. You are a wyrmling, and don't mind picking up a sword to help your friends and family. Using your strength and knowledge, you can be a valuable assist to your party.

Ancient Beings

Dragons have been around since the dawn of time. Over that period of time, dragons gained knowledge and strength that others can only imagine. Dragons have been known to speak Common, read, write, and be members of societies. Though wyrmlings are young, they still hold many of these features as their ancient counterparts. Many of these wyrmlings go on to become masters of the Arcane, tricksters and assassins, warriors, or servants of otherworldly beings.

Money Motivated

Though they are intelligent creatures, dragons tend to be money motivated. Most dragons end up collecting their riches, whether it be from stealing or earning it rightfully, and creating hoards. These hoards can be small enough to fit in a bag, or large enough to take up an entire cave. In fact, these hoards usually become the dragons' obsessions and they defend it with their life.

Dragon Names

Many dragons are given their names at birth in a normal fashion. These names usually have sharp sounds or s's in them.

Example Male Names: Bissaker, Inoarrarus, Senax, Ilillor

Example Female Names: Xirroa, Ar'kraxa, Aroachra, Anakurn

If dragons are raised with non-dragons, if they are not given a name, they will come up with their own. These names usually are words from the surrounding environment, and most often than not, include something about money.

Urban Name Examples: Clink, Coin, Gold, Diamond, Jewel, Crystal

Breath Weapon

You can use your action to exhale destructive energy. Your dragon ancestry determines the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your dragon ancestry. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level. After you use your breath weapon, you can’t use it again until you complete a short or long rest.

Damage Resistance

You have resistance to the damage type associated with your dragon ancestry.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and Draconic. Draconic is thought to be one of the oldest languages and is often used in the study of magic. The language sounds harsh to most other creatures and includes numerous hard consonants and sibilants, and is the language of Dragons.
