Homebrew Dark Fey Species Details
Dark Fey are winged humanoids that have increased strength and agility and a more hearty constitution than your average human. They come from the Feywild originally, but were brought to the prime material when a fey creature mated with it's human lover. Only a Dark Fey and a human can reproduce other Dark Fey. Most Dark Fey are druidic and due to there imperious nature most human civilizations ostracize them. Most forest dwelling elf civilizations also resent them due to the Dark Fey having a propensity for blunt cruelty and unyielding resistance to authority. Most Dark Fey are independent and because of this Dark Fey living together do not have formalized governance. Dark Fey exhibit a set of horns and wings, both of which are colored to resemble the environment they were raised in. Dark Fey also change their eye colors with their emotions. Due to their unyielding nature they tend not to live with other Dark Fey at all. Dark Fey are almost always chaotic in nature and can go either way on the scale of good and evil depending upon their social environment.
