Homebrew Wolf Companion Species Details

Wolves have existed far longer then people and all other races. Sometimes a particularly brave adventurer will train one from a pup as a companion and protector. 

 

These beasts are formidable and loyal, but can be savage allies.

Wolf Companion Traits

Savage

Perceptive

Your wolf companion can see and hear in the dark as if it was gloomy up to 80 feet and in gloomy conditions as if it was sunny up to 100 feet.

Pack Mentality

+1 to attack rolls if the wolf's companion is within 5 feet.

Bite Attack

Melee weapon attack. +4 to hit, 5 feet range, 1 attack. On hit 7 (2d4+2) damage, if the target is small or medium then they must pass a dc 11 strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
