On average, Canifolk live to the maximum of 60 years of age. The average lifetime of a Canifolk is around 40-45 years.

Canifolk are everywhere on the spectrum. Their lives and society are extremely ordered, but Canifolk themselves do mainly tend to be a bit more chaotic. It is also less usual to find evil Canifolk, but it is not as rare of a sight.

Canifolk range from 4 to 7 (or in extreme cases, 8) feet tall. Your size is Medium.

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Having been hunters and accustomed to moving in darkness, Canifolk have adapted to seeing in darkness. Their eyes are like tiny mirrors, collecting the most amount of light from a maximum distance of 60 feet. You can see in dim light without any issues and you can see in full nonmagical darkness as if it was dim light. You cannot discern colours while in darkness.

Canifolk have long nasal passages and sensitive cells coating the inner sides of them. Canifolk have adapted to being able to smell perfectly, tracking smells and perceiving their surroundings through smell. You can track creatures by sniffing the places with their smell if the creature left the smell 1 hour ago. You gain Blindsense – if an unseen creature enters your range you know of its presence, but not its location.

You can speak Common and Canine.

Canifolk have many subraces – detailed here are Hounds, Shepherds, and Mastiffs.
