Homebrew Bosmer/ Wood Elf Species Details
The clan folk of the Western Valenwood forests, also known as Bosmer. Wood Elves make good scouts and thieves, and there are no finer archers in all of Tamriel. They have a natural resistance to both poisons and diseases.
Age
Due to their elven nature, it is assumed Bosmer can live roughly 400 years.
Size
Bosmer are smaller than most races on Tamriel, ranging from 4 feet to a maximum 5 feet. Your size is medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 35 feet, you also have a climbing speed of 35 feet.
Bosmer/ Wood Elf Traits
As a Bosmer, you gain the following racial traits:Command Animal
As an action, choose a target beast within 30ft with a CR of 1/4 or lower. It must succeed in a WIS saving throw of DC 10 + your Animal Handling bonus. If they fail, they are you ally for 30 minutes and will be neutral to you after the effect is over. You must take a long rest to use this feature again.
Beast Tongue
You know the spell Speak with Animals and can cast it once per long rest without expending a spell slot.
Ability Score Increase
Your DEX score increase by 2, WIS score increases by 1.
Forest Friend
Your history of forest life grants you proficiency in Animal Handling.
Master Archers
You are proficient with shortbows and longbows.
Darkvision
Accustomed to life in dark forests, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60ft of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern most colour in darkness, seeing only in shades of grey.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common, Elvish, and one additional language.
Natural Resistance
Your blood grants you immunity against being poisoned or diseased, you are also resistant to poison damage.
