Homebrew Dragonborn Half Elf Species Details
You are one of a rare few. Dragonborns and Elves not only originate from different parts of the globe but are also honour filled races. A Dragonborn who has a child with an elf will be seen as a traitor to the clan and will usually be excommunicated. Meanwhile Elves will will not openly excommunicate a half Dragonborn there will definitely be an air of disgust and disrespect as you walk through elven cities and settlements.
However, despite society looking down on you the majority of Dragonborn Half Elves are part of a tight knit family. Due to the strong societal taboos about these relationships if a Dragonborn and an Elf do decide to get together it is due to s strong emotional relationship between the pair. These leads to many Dragon Half Elves growing up isolated from society at large but with strong loving parental figures.
Being societal outcasts Dragonborn Half Elves are drawn to similar people such as Tiefling sand Half Orcs. Due to their rarity a Dragonborn Half Elves may never see another Dragonborn Half Elf in their entire life.
This disconnect from society can also create anarchic feelings in Dragonborn Half Elves and leads to a large proportion of Dragonborn Half Elves resorting to crimes when times get tough. However an equally large proportion strive to create equality in the world and join rebellions in the name of freedom and acceptance.
Due to religion being the backbone of many societies very few Dragonborn Half Elves are grow up to become clerics or paladins however those who do usually praise Gods such as Avandra or Sahanine that represent change and destiny. On the flip side very few would praise Bahamut and Melora who are major figures in Draconic and Elven societies respectively.
