Homebrew Sylph Species Details

The sylphs are a race born of magic, descended from similar origins to the wild dryads that hunt in the wilder woods. Sylphs consider the comparison as insulting as they regard their feral cousins with great disdain, running around with too much bark showing. Sylphs are regarded by other races as secretive and hard to trust, apart from the elves that share their home in the gwychwood and take part in their studies. With long life spans, Sylphs are well known chroniclers and many sylphs have a knack for remembering long past events. This ability to recount and remember lends them to the mystical arts, and many Sylph novices travel to Dudahn on pilgrimage seeking tutelage.
