Homebrew Drafters Species Details

Drafters are used as servants to humans. Beings created from nonsentient Objects and often are created for royals, Mages, WIzards, Warlocks, and essentially the Higher class. However due to it taking a large amount of magic just to create these beings, they are only created with the nessicary parts to live such as a brain, Lungs, Kidneys, Essential organs really. However they are not created with a reproductive system, so they cannot bear children whatsoever.

Not only that but drafters cannot age. This is because of their fluids. all of their fluids are ink based and just as ink is perminent on paper, The drafters appearance is perminent as well. Of course if you cut their hair it will grow back but it will not be any diffrent than how it looked before and it won't grow any longer. But not only is thi the reasoning as to why they cannot age, but this is the sole reason why they have the ability to manipulate the properties of ink to their own advantages. This includes their own fluids.

Unlike the common Serif, Drafters are used for servics that aren't common to Serifs. For example They would be assigned to retrieve Groceries, Shine Swords, armor, Or clean their Weponry, ect. Their supposed to be more portable, while still doing some of the same jobs that the common serif does. Not only that But they also are usedas Protection or Bodyguards due to their ability to manipulate the properties of ink to their advantage. Like the ability Shapewater, They can Manipulate the properties of ink to their advantage and do just about anything with it. For example they could make Tendrils out of their Ink, Sharp Tendrils, Or use them as a way of Transport as well, extending and swinging from place to place.

However unlike a Serif, a Drafter is known to be a Life Time servant due to the fact that they cannot die from old age which stated before, is because like how ink is perminent on paper their appearance is perminent. However that doesn't mean that they can't die. They can die from Fluid loss, Hunger, Dehydration, Illness, and can indeed be murdered. But if a Drafter dies, Their body decomposes and returns into what it once was, which is paper, Except torn. There have been theories that Even after a drafter dies that they might successfully be brought back to life if the pieces were put together correctly and stuck together, But this has never been Proven, and Probably won't ever.

Drafters Traits

Their skin can be just about any color depending on the paper they were made from, and they can look like just about anything really. But what sets them apart from Other Creatures is the fact that they have sketch lines across their body, Naturally Bumpy skin, Glossy oily hair (If they have hair), and a Navy Blue Tongue.

Shape Ink

The ability held alone to the drafters. Not many know they have this ability, But those who do, They are able to control the properties of ink, weather it's from their body or not. How this works is that Their Body is bound to their Main fluids which is ink due to the fact that their made from Ink as the main fluids. Which gives them the Natural Ability to Control ink as a fluid. Kinda like Waterbending
