Homebrew Aeolius Species Details

The ancient faes typically wears a brown shroud and veils that makes them look like a desert-wandering nomads, and they wield simple wooden staffs. Aeolius shows two thin, almost mummified-looking limbs, that could be taken as human but actually has four arms with two usually kept hidden in their shroud.

Aeolius Traits

You will have traits evolved from elves and humans, as you are natural drawn to them

Necrotic Shroud

Your eyes become a haunting black void, any foe with-in your line of sight must roll in order not to be frightened (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier)

Ability Score Increase

Your Wisdom score increases by 2, and two other ability scores of your choice increase by 1.

Age

Aeoliuses’ mature at the same rate humans do and reach adulthood around the age of 20. They live much longer than humans, however, often exceeding 2,000 years.

Alignment

Aeoliuses act in a way that is lawfully neutral, however their are a select few who are lawfully evil. For example, if you curse your brother while a Wise One is around then everyone but yourself will forget your brother existed. The Aeoliuses will justify their actions by saying “you were the one who cursed him not I, remember well that we listen.”

Size

Aeoliuses are about the same size as humans, ranging from 5 to 6 feet tall, however they develop the tendency to hunch. Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision

Thanks to your evolved elven traits, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Fae Being

You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.

Skill Versatility

You gain proficiency in two skills of your choice.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common, Elvish, and one extra language of your choice.
