Homebrew Apkallu Species Details

Inhabitants of the sky cities and mountainous regions the mystical Apkallu are a special race of few individuals spread all around the world.

Wings & Flight

Most Apkallu take the form of either a human or an elf with the addition of wings. Apkallu wings take many forms and sizes but they all enable flight. As one of the few races capable of flight many Apkallu are taught how to fly at a very young age and you can often see Apkallu working as messengers and protection services.

Vision

Over the course of many years Apkallu have adapted and gained very keen eyesight and hearing. This enables them to make very good spies and criminals.

As an Apkallu you are enabled flight which can either be very efficient or very dangerous so choosing to play an Apkallu must be carefully weighed

Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.

Age

Apkallus normally reach the age of maturity around the same time as humans but are more likely to live up to a century.

Alignment

Most Apkallu are good and rarely choose sides when it comes to law and chaos. Tribal leaders and warriors might be lawful, while explorers and adventurers might tend toward chaotic.

Apkallu are about 5 feet tall. They have human like bodies and with the wings weigh around 130-150 pounds. Your size is Medium.
