Homebrew Arboli Species Details

Arboli has existed since ancient times. Arboli are distant relatives of Treants, their appearance usually being a smaller, more Humanoid version of treants. Arboli typically live in forests, Swamps, Artic and many other terrains and environments. Arboli prefers to live close on the edges of civilization and tend to be very calm, serene and kind people. Arboli typically has a wooden shell, protruded from their head is are vine-like hair with leaves and/or pinecones, although, they can have many different appearances like many trees.

Arboli is great Ambassadors or Diplomats, and are very good at what they do. Arboli can also be very well-trained Druids and will most likely take a position of communing with nature to warn, aid or protect both sides of civilization.

Your natural ability to regrow fallen limbs and heal from wounds gives you the ability to speed up the process of regrowth allowing you to heal 1d10 hit points once per long rest.

One with Nature

Your tree-root-like legs allow you to not expend any extra movement when travelling through difficult terrain (non-magical).

Restrict

You have the power to reach your root-like fingers into the ground and use the Entangle spell as a cantrip.

Ability Score Increase

Your natural calmness and serenity can be used to be a speaker for people, beasts or plants.

You are proficient in Intelligence (Nature) and Charisma (Persuasion) skill checks.

Commune with Nature

Your Ancient heritage provides you with the ability to communicate with different aspects of nature.

At second level, you are able to cast Commune with Nature cantrip.
