Alethi Traits
..Storm Sense
Knowing when a highstorm approaches is essential for survival as an Alethi. Although there are some sects of their rreligion that focus on the prediction of the storms, all Alethi can sense a highstorm that is hours away through the tremors in the earth.
Carapace Skin
Reduces slashing and piecing damage by 1d4 roll plus Constitution modifier.
Darkeyes
the darkeyes are the working class or the alethi. they are not allowed to use swords, ride horses or become one of the noble ruling class. However, because of this they are a hardier class and have a more muscular build.
Mandatory Service
Alethi law states that all darkeyes must serve for at least four years in the army once they reach the age of 15. In the army, they are trained in the spear, as they are unable to use swords.
Lighteyes
The highborn nobles of the Alethi, only lighteyes can carry a sword and rule.
Noble Privilege
the Alethi nobility have the privilege of being able to use swords and horses in combat. therefore, they are trained in these skills to give an example to the socially inferior darkeyes.

Posted Apr 20, 2020I was at first interested, but this doesn't fit the Alethi. The Parshendi were the ones with carapaces, and they are as far removed from the Alethi as it gets. The Alethi are merely humans, albeit with a particular caste system.
