Homebrew Xelor Species Details

A Xelor appears as mummy-like humanoids with robotic features. Underneath those bandages and clockwork, rumors say that they appear similar to humans, but with pale white/silver skin and glowing blue eyes. Sadly no one’s ever been able to stick around them long enough to confirm that. No one knows exactly where they come from, but given their semi-mechanical appearance and affinity for time based magic, they likely hale from the clockwork plane of Mechanus. 

Xelor Traits

All Xelors have these basic traits

Age

For every 100 years that pass your body only ages 1.

Ability Score Increase

Your Intelligence increases by 2 and another ability score (besides Intelligence) increases by 1.

Languages

You can speak, read and write Common and one language of your choice.

Pendulum perception

You always know what time it is and have advantage on perception checks. 

Innovation of the Pendulum

Starting at 3rd level the Xelor can chanel arcane energy to help it disrupt the swinging of the eternal Pendulum (Time). The particular effect of each Invocation depends on your subrace. They can cast each Innovation using an action.
