Homebrew Xar'Athur Species Details
The Beginning
Xar'Athur is a race born from magic. The female dragon Helartha lost her mate before she could conceive children. Helartha couldn't love another but the desire to have children remained. That lead her to summon a demon to ask for a way. The demon told her that by combining his magic and blood with Helartha's own magic and blood could imbue her with life possible to be born into existence. In exchange after a few years her soul and body will belong to the demon. Helartha agreed and later laid ten eggs. Surprisingly, the children born from Helartha weren't pure dragons but a half breed between a dragon and a demon. The children had many abilities bestowed to them by both races which blood they had. A few years later the demon came to claim Helartha. Before Helartha left with the demon she explained to her children that they could live neither with the dragons nor with the demons because they were something different.
