Homebrew Vastaya Species Details

The origin of most chimeric races can be traced back to the Feywilds, when the Vastayashai'rei first entered our world through the hidden portals deep within the forests and jungles of the Lusterie archipelago. Over several millennia, the Vastayashai'rei began mingling with the settlements on the islands, with their unions producing fanciful hybrid creatures. These races came to be known collectively as the Vastaya. Over time, the varied offshoots began to settle in different regions of the island nation and naturally adopted different forms - simian, avine, even piscine - according to the creatures which most embodied their strongest characteristics.
