Homebrew Deepfolk Species Details

Deepfolk (or elves) are grey-skinned, with large eyes and unnaturally long arms. They are haughty and pretentious, and dislike many species from above the ground. A deepfolk is mistrustful and potentially rude, and may come across as alien, but they are generally much like humans.

Deepfolk are surprisingly wily and persuasive, but quite lacking physically.

Darkvision

Accustomed to dank caves, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
