Homebrew Aasiling Species Details
Conflicted in their nature, the Aasiling roam the earth in an attempt to find out why they exist. Being torn between their fiendish nature and their divine and celestial nature these halfbreeds gain traits from both their parent races, and the troubles of both as well.
Aasilings can either take after their celestial parent, or their fiendish parent, very rarely both. However, they will always have traits of both parents even if one side's traits are more shown compared to the other.
Being half Aasimar, the Aasilings also have a guardian spirit that is guiding them. Unlike normal Aasimar, this spirit is neither good nor evil, and just wishes to protect the Aasiling, and as such, they will come to the Aasiling with news of anyone who might mean the Aasiling harm, or if they are being hunted or tracked by something.
Aasilings struggle from the troubles of both their parent races. Their tiefling side is hated for being demonic, and their celestial side gets too much placed on them by the common people, they are also going to be hunted by different groups if their angelic nature is shown enough times for rumors to start spreading far and wide.
