Homebrew Avians Species Details

Fierce and aggressive, driven by their sense of honour, the Avians are fearless in battle. Preferring war to peace, their nation has by tradition sought conquest and glory. While their reigning leader, Iyolo Blackgyr, is a strong and worthy leader, he is unused to the complexities of running a weak empire. The Avian government has always been centrally controlled, and both the volume and complexity of decisions means that even a gifted ruler has difficulty managing a nation with this much strife. It is therefore a time of change and adaptation, a time of unrest, a time of hard decisions. It is also a time when the Avians are faced with questions of their past, as well as their future in society.

The Avians are not like that of any other race, thus there abilites differe from that of other humanoids.

Avian Brilliance: You are proficient in perception and can double your proficiency bonus with it, (this affects your passive perception). additionally, when you miss a critical hit by one, you can turn that hit into a critical hit, you can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier a day.
