Homebrew Anima Species Details

They are magical beings that can change into any animal, including humans. The first was originally human, but as a punishment, was changed into this. They are called Anima because that was the first’s name. At full power they can turn into a human, but after 2 hours they faint and turn into their spirit animal. They gain power when sleeping. When killed by a hunter, they turn into a white (peace), gold (wisdom and spirit), and red (death) bird, and fly to the heavens. When killed by an animal, they are the offspring and faintly remember their previous lives. When they die naturally of old death, they become a dragon, and fly into the sacred protected forest, where they live forever.
