Homebrew The Nephilim Species Details

A very rare race, packed to the brim with the unbridled potential of strength, dubbed the Nephilim. For whatever reason a human and a creature of immense strength, such as a giant or goliath, conceive a child, the offspring has a slim chance of producing a Nephilim. Most cases of this race are abandoned at birth, leaving the origins completely shrouded to most free folk, but some intelligent wizards have studied these humanoids, and understand their origins. Common people believe members of this race are the offspring gods and the daughters of men. Most Nephilim would say that they are humans to avoid unwanted attention, while few will make their heritage obvious to receive special treatment. They tend to stay nomadic, taking physical occupations such as a mercenary or builder.

You have proficiency in the Athletics skill.

You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

Intimidating Build

You are proficient in intimidation, and once per short rest, you can roll an intimidation check with advantage using your strength score. The action must be described as physically intimidating, and the Dungeon Master must decide if the description is enough to use the ability.

Ability Score Increase.

Your Strength score increases by 2, and your constitution increases by 1.

Age

Nephilim reach maturity by their mid-twenties and typically live slightly over a century.

Alignment

Nephilim tend toward no particular alignment.

Size

Nephilim are typically between 6 and 7 feet tall, leaning more towards the taller side. your size is medium.
