Homebrew Aetherborn Species Details

The Aetherborn are a race of beings made from the Aether. Some Aetherborn have the ability to drain life from others to increase their lifespan. The Aetherborn are made up of magical energy from an energy known as the Aether. The energy seems to be a blue black that seeps from their body. The Aetherborn only live for a few years unless they choose to drain the life of others to increase their lifespan. 

Aetherborn Traits

-2 Constitution +2 Dexterity +2 to one other ability score that is not constitution +1 to one other ability score that is not constitution

Drain Life

You must absorb other beings life force to increase your own small lifespan. 

You can choose to attack a stunned, sleeping, prone, paralyzed, or immobilized creature dealing 3d12 damage and allowing you to live an additional month. You also gain 1d12 hitpoints upon doing this.

Darkvision

You can see dim light as normal light and darkness as dim light.

Built of Energy

Aetherborn do not need to sleep or eat, and aetherborn are focused on experiencing all of existence, never taking a moment for granted or wanting to waste time.
