Homebrew Vygul Species Details
The Vygul are a towering race of Elves with red skin, white hair, and burning eyes. They are a nomadic species traditionally consisting of Barbarians, Druids, and Rangers who value honour and glory above all else.
You and your clan are wanderers. Never enslaved by the domestication of civilization. Freedom is your life's purpose.
Those living in a city may find your nature chaotic and wild, but you do not have a shed of care. You value your time either drinking and reveling at the nearest tavern, fighting in the gladiator's arena or hunting down a monstrous prey to prove your skill. You do it all for the glory and honour of yourself and your clan.
Vygul Traits
as a Vygul you have adapted to a harsh and brutal lifestyle, as a result you gain the following benefits:Darkvision
Your eyes burn with rage and as a result, you can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of red and orange.
Imposing Nature
You are proficient in the Intimidation skill and have advantage on Intimidation rolls made against creatures of equal size and smaller. Additionally, you have advantage on Wisdom Saving Throws against against being Frightened.
Unrelenting Ferocity
When you roll an attack and critically hit your next attack is made with advantage against the same target. If they survived.
Will of the Warrior
When you take damage that would normally reduce you to 0 hp, you may roll a d20. On a roll of 11-19 you immediately shrug off the damage and take half (cannot be reduced passed 1 hp), on a roll of 20 you also take a free turn. On a roll of 1-10 you are reduced to 0 hp and lose one death saving throw. Once used, you suffer a point of exhaustion and you can not benefit from this ability again until you complete a long rest.
Ability Score Increase
You gain a +2 Strength score and a +1 Constitution score.
