  1.  creatures whose existence depends on the throw of a dice or on chance; random

 Aleatori spring to life by chance as a non corporeal self organized intelligence. At first they are little more than wandering ghosts with extremely limited sensory perception. Yet the Aleatori are self aware and able to move through the world. Aleatori develop psychic abilities which grow over their life spans.  At first they are able to sense creatures. Over time they are able to share thoughts and emotions with humans and animals.  

Ultimately their psychic power can grow sufficiently to allow the Aleatori to make a permanent psychic connection with a willing mutated human Psionic.  Through this connection they establish a permanent symbiosis with a human which is mutually beneficial. The human and the wandering intelligence merge becoming something 'other' - they become an Aleatori.

The Aleatori were born of chance and they have the ability to touch the fundamental fields of nature with random and fearful results

Humans classify the Aleatori into a broad category called Satans which includes all the Shadow Peoples and Devils that haunt, possess and terrorize humans during times of the Blinding Darkness.  Unlike with Satans, Devils and Ghosts, the Aleatori possession is permanent and once merged the Human and Aleatori pair can not be separated and they die together (or so it is said).

Psychic Connection

A human Psionic agrees to establish a permanent Psychic Connection with the Aleatori. The Aleatori disappears and enters the body of the human. Unlike possession by a ghost, the target and the Aleatori become “each other”. There is no sense of deprivation. The host and the Aleatori have become “one”. The shared consciousness gains access to the others proficiency, knowledge, and Class Features.

The Ability Scores of the host remain, but the intelligence and wisdom scores are increased by +1 point each.

The pair share the effects of the Telepathy and Telekinesis Feat including improvements to perception, insight and athletics and the ability to cast Telekinetic Hand and Telepathic Message

Level 1 - 3: n is the value of one six(6) sided die divided by two(2) rounded up to an integer (2, 4 or 8 points of damage).

Level 4 - 6: n is the value of one four(4) sided die (2, 4, 8 or 16 points of damage).

Level 7 - 9: n is the value of one six(6) sided die (2, 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64 points of damage).

Level 10 +: n is the value of one six (6) sided die plus 1 (4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 points of damage).
