Homebrew Cervitaur Species Details

Much like the centaur, cervitaurs have humanoid torsos that end with a lower half that resembles brocket deer, caribou, deer, moose, elk, muntjacs, tufted deer and Chinese water deer. Pelt colors and hair color tends to usually be similar in some way, though they are varied in many ways. Some have antlers (or fangs depending on the cervitaur) while some simply do not, but all cervitaurs have deep ties to their fey heritage.

There can be a great deal of physical diversity in cervitaurs, depending on their lower half and even what their humanoid torso appears as. They thrive in many different climates and biomes, and despite being a relatively new race to the material plane, one can find them in many different parts of the world. Perhaps thanks to their ties to the Fey Wild, having recently left to become part of the material plane, cervitaurs tend to be a race with incredible curiosity of those around them. Unfortunately, being new, some social norms and historically significant happenings are unknown to their race. This can lead outsiders to viewing the race as sheltered or naive, a poor judgment as they have their own rich histories that lead to their decision to join those on the material plane.
