Homebrew Cloud Half-Giant Species Details

Sometimes with Whitish-blue hair, and with dark cloudy skin. These half-giants are gifted with the power of magic that allows them to easily escape and confound their enemies.

Giantlings or Half-giants are born from an unconventional coupling of a giant parent and most commonly a human parent. Half Giants are recognizable for their tall musculature and powerful abilities. Strangely, they are closer to their non-giant heritage but they still managed to hold some power and hulk above most races. Most half-giants resemble bigger, stronger and slightly hued (depending on the heritage of the giant parent) humans. Despite their size and parents they do not often find themselves at home with other giants. They usually reside within the smaller race communities or with the single giant parent. because of their size and abilities they are sought after for various jobs in protection or in large manual labor.

Alignment

Half-Giants take after their human parents more often than not and so can be of most alignments.

Age

Half-Giants/Giantlings have a similar aging process to that of humans however they can easily live past 100 years.

Size

Most Half-Giants range between 7-8 feet in height and weighing near 300+ pounds. Your size is medium.

Ability Score Increase

Your Intelligence Score increase by 2 and your Strength Score increases by 1.

Keen Smell

You have advantage when it comes to perception checks using your sense of smell.

Cloud Giant Magic

You Know the Light cantrip and can cast it on command. At 3rd level you learn the spell Misty Step and can use it once per long rest. Constitution is your spell casting ability score.

Oversized

You can attempt to shove or grapple creatures up to two sizes larger than yourself.

Stone Throwing

You are proficient in using improvised throwing weapons made of stone to an appropriate size. This ability can be used as many times as your Strength modifier per long rest. (DM's desecration as to size and weight and how it should be thrown, meaning two-handed or one handed.)

Languages

You can speak, write and read both Common and Giant.
