Homebrew Aetherlion Species Details

Aetherlion Traits

Aetherlions have the gooooood shit!

Ability Score Increase

Your Dexterity and Strength score increases by 2, and your other scores increase by 1.

Age

Aetherlion reach maturity by age 300. They then stop aging by natural causes. 

Alignment

Most Aetherlion are lawfull good and protect the ones they see as worthy.

Size

Aetherlion are about 15 feet high and 25 feet long. They have strong, agile bodies that weigh between 800 and 1000 pounds. Your size is large.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 40 feet.

Flight

You have a flying speed of 50 feet. 

Claws

Your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 3d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

Languages

You can speak and read Common and Celestial but you are unable to write anything with your paws.  

Inspiring Presence

Any friendly creature that is within 60 feet of you deals an additional 1d6 radiant damage when they hit something with an attack.  

Also if any of theese creatures roll a natural 1 one on a D20 they can reroll and take the new result. 

You can choose to hide your radiant Aura, thus ending its effect on everyone within it.

Radiant Vision

Your superior eyes are made to hunt fiends and food. 

You can see through magical and nonmagical Darkness up to 120 feet. You are able to see colours with this feature. 

You can see any invisible fiends within 60 feet of you and you can see the true form of any fiend within 30 feet. 

Feline Body

Your feline body makes you a deadly force of radiant might, but also holds you back in many situations. 

You are unable to use equipment that wasnt specificly made with your body in mind and you need 3 times as long for any action that requires hands.
Your DM might rule that certain actions are completly impossible for you to perform. 

You can perform the somatic components of any spell with your paws as long as you are not using them for anything besides regular movement.
(For example, you cant cast a spell while climbing or sprinting.)
