Homebrew Awakened SCP-096 Species Details

Terrifying Wanderers

SCP-096 are tall humanoid creatures that shows very little muscle mass, similar to one suffering mild malnutrition. The arms are grossly out of proportion with the rest of the creature's body, 63% of SCP-096's height. Skin is mostly devoid of pigmentation, with no sign of any body hair.

SCP-096's jaw can open up to four times the norm of an average human. Other facial features remain similar to an average human, with the exception of the eyes, which are also devoid of pigmentation. It is not yet known whether SCP-096 is blind or not.

Distressed Anomalies

SCP-096 are normally extremely docile.  However, when someone views their face, whether it be directly or otherwise, they will enter a stage of considerable emotional distress. SCP-096 will cover its face with its hands and begin screaming, crying, and babbling incoherently. Approximately one to two minutes after the first viewing, SCP-096 will begin running to the person who viewed its face.

Other

SCP-096 is not my creation.  It is owned by the SCP Foundation and it's author.  This is merely my interpretation of the item in D&D

Scopophobic

You always know if you are the target of effects or spells that reveal your face, such as Scrying.  When your face is seen, you know the viewers exact location.

**WARNING: THE FOLLOWING ABILITY IS OVERPOWERED**

As an action to someone viewing your face, you spend 1 minute entering a state of extreme emotional distress.  Once activated, you are under the effects of Haste.  This state lasts for 10 minutes, and you can only take the dash action until you are within melee range of the creature who viewed your face.  While in this state, you ignore difficult terrain

Once in melee range of the target, all attacks made against the target and yourself are at advantage.  This lasts until the effect ends.

Optional DM rule: You can have SCP-096 make a Wisdom Saving Throw of DC 10+X to resist, where X is the number of previous times resisted.  For example; if the player has managed to resist 4 times, the DC is 14.  Upon failing the Save, the DC is reset back to 10.  Using this rule, the player can only move towards and attack their target.  If SCP-096's face is viewed while pursuing their target, the player can decide either to change victims immediately or not, but must pursue them until the 10 minutes is over.

Languages

You can read and write Common and one other language of your choice.  SCP-096 has not been observed to speak, only making pained wails and moans along with vicious screaming when it's face is viewed.
