Homebrew Blackbeard's Giant-kin Species Details

In the mountains, the hills, to the south or in the deep recesses of forgotten jungles live clans of Giant-kin. Giant-kin are reclusive and territorial by nature, keeping to themselves has kept them safe from their former masters, the giants. Giant-kin are giant blooded, but are as far from giants as humans are from apes. Giants once ruled over Giant-kin and kept them as slaves, using their physical superiority to keep them captive. After many ages a single Giant-kin named Farusha Dakal led a war against their captors and saved the Giant-kin from slavery. Farusha Dakal was a fierce warrior and mother, she inspired the long beaten down Giant-kin to rise up and use their superior intellect to defeat the Giants in a long and deadly war. Since then the Giant-kin have spread out across the lands, keeping small communities of families that have trained themselves to fight so that their former masters will never again enslave them.

Age

Giant-kin mature at a similar rate to humans. However they can live to about 150 years on average.

Giant-kin society, is a very neutral to good society, Giant-kin understand that there is an ebb and a flow to the universe and thus there is a place for both good and evil in nature and civilization.

Giant-kin stand between 10 and 15 feet tall on average, and weigh between 800 and 1400 lbs. Your size is Large.
