Homebrew Yuan-Ti Abomination Species Details
With their almost completely serpentine form and vaguely humanoid arms able to use weapons and tools, abominations were the form of yuan-ti that most closely resembled the originally intended appearance of the yuan-ti race as envisioned by the serpent gods. Abominations are deeply chaotic and see each other as threats, but work together for the sake of survival. To limit clashes of personality, roughly half of a yuan-ti settlement’s abominations tend to rest for months at a time in a state of torpor, conserving their energy. In spite of this, a single abomination–typically a high-level cleric or psychic–often dominates the tribe and turns into a cult of personality.

Posted Apr 12, 2022Why is the grabble made with disadvantede? Wouldn't a giant snake coil be much more effective then regular grabble? I mean IRL snakes are able to grabble animals and such that are larger and heavier then themselves.

Posted May 14, 2022Could just be for their game. I do agree that the disadvantage is unneeded. But also imagine that you are grappling a creature and they can't do anything but you can still stab them in the face and use them as a shield. Would be a tad much don't cha think?
